GAP are delighted to announce the addition of the three new tractor units which have been integrated into the fleet.
The new units will oversee the delivery of GAP products around the UK for many years to come, offering a greater fuel efficiency and improved aerodynamics than their predecessors. These are being slowly phased out over the course of the next few months as GAP continues its commitment to becoming a greener manufacturer and looking to modernise across all departments of the company.
GAP have already seen investment in the fleet department earlier this year, as the trade specialists acquired seven new trailer units and have further consolidated their commitment by providing more environmentally efficient tractor units.
Joint MD, Simon Bird has welcomed the fleet expansion and is delighted by the latest additions:
“Not only are these new vehicles a greener option moving forward, but they will improve the service received by our customers nationwide, allowing us to get our fantastic product ranges through our nationwide depot network as efficiently and as quickly as possible to better serve our customers.”
Although pictured at our head office in Blackburn, Lancashire, the new tractor units are currently spread across the UK making deliveries of our stock, to and from our manufacturing hubs nationwide, so be sure to look out for them on the roads!
