The brand-new Heritage Plus lock is now available for purchase with all Rockdoors (trade account holders only).
The sophisticated and new automatic lock option gives homeowners a different choice to our standard locking mechanisms as this allows a totally new method of unlocking a door.
Firstly, we have adjusted the height of the key cylinder to be shoulder height, leaning towards the classic timber doors of the eighties and nineties.
However, unlike traditional Heritage locks where the latch would go from the key into the frame, the latch is positioned centrally on the door despite the positioning of the key cylinder. This is cleverly designed to allow for extra convenience and functionality.
Secondly, we will be introducing a brand-new finger pull to accommodate the Heritage Plus lock with a period style fingerpull, as well as a classic escutcheon option, to give even more choice to homeowners.
Other features of the Heritage Plus lock include an automatic lock for instant security, magnetic sensors trigger locks to engage into frame.
This extra locking mechanism adds to our range of secure multi-point locks with steel hooks and 25mm throws, that have received numerous security accreditations and can also help contribute towards the Police backed ‘Secured by Design’ status.
