HomeFrame GRP Composite Doors Sets New Production Record

HomeFrame GRP Composite Doors, which is part of the wide and varied range of GAP products manufactured in-house, has recorded a significant milestone in its relatively short history, by achieving a record production month in October 2024.

HomeFrame manufactures high-quality GRP composite doors from their large manufacturing base in Knowsley, Merseyside, including a large range of colours and styles which are distributed to customers across the country through the GAP’s depot network.

The HomeFrame range of GRP doors has grown significantly since the launch of the Knowsley plant, allowing GAP to offer a competitively priced, high-quality range of doors that enhances our overall product lineup. Achieving this milestone is perfect timing for the young composite door brand, as it gears up for its latest upgrade in customer offerings, which will see the introduction of even more door styles and glass designs, not to mention new colour options for both the sash and frame.

Danny Dean, General Manager of GAP Knowsley manufacturing base, expressed his pride in the team: “Reaching this milestone was a team effort, and I couldn’t be prouder of everyone here at Knowsley. Every person in this team has contributed to making this goal possible, and it’s a pleasure to see such hard work pay off. We're not just celebrating a big production number; we're celebrating the teamwork, expertise, and craftsmanship behind each door we produce. We are now looking forward to building on this success with our new styles, whilst keeping lead times low and quality high.”

To mark this occasion, the team gathered at the Knowsley manufacturing facility to celebrate a record month. GAP is eager to build on this momentum, setting its sights on achieving even more milestones in the future.
