GAP is delighted to announce that the newest addition to the depot network will be located in Doncaster, as part of the companies’ latest plans for expansion and growth. The new depot marks another step forward in GAP’s history as it is welcomes yet another depot to add to its network of 80+ that are currently in operation in the UK.
Joint founder Simon Bird is delighted with the latest addition to the network and believes that the depot shows how committed GAP are to growing as a company, despite the recent pressures brought on by the covid-19 pandemic:
“This is a bold and exciting move which we feel truly underlines and reinforces our commitment and desire to succeed in a challenging industry and provide our customers with the service they expect.”
The new location will consolidate a further store in the South Yorkshire region and make up the fourth depot in the county, alongside our trade counters in Barnsley, Sheffield and Rotherham. Doncaster is already an area served by GAP through other local depots, so having a depot in Doncaster itself will allow customers to visit the depot and take advantage of the wide range of building products available.
The latest depot will stock GAP’s UPVC range of Homeline Building Products including facias, soffits, cladding and trims. Also available will be GAPs made to measure products including Rockdoor Composite Doors, HomeFrame Windows and HomeView Bi Folds.
All GAPs made to measure products can be conveniently ordered in the depots purpose built new ‘HUB’ where customers can sit down away from the hustle and bustle of the trade counter to carefully order their products with our team whilst having a hot drink.
GAP Doncaster will feature the same brand new concept that the business unveiled late last year in Deeside, focusing on digital media to showcase a wide range of manufactured products. 5 large advertising screens will replace traditional product displays.
The depot is conveniently located on Doncaster Trade Park, off Merchants Way and set to open open to customers on Monday 7th February 2022.
