We’re delighted to announce that work has begun on our next depot, Wakefield, which will be opening to the trade in October.
Wakefield comes after the recent openings over the summer months at our new Morecambe and High Wycombe trade counters, as we look to expand our depot network further, taking our total in Yorkshire up to 11.
Joint MD, Simon Bird, believes the new depot will help better serve customers in the local area:
“We’re excited to be continuing our depot expansion plans further with the addition of Wakefield, which is set to open next month whilst we get ready behind the scenes.
“Historically the area of West Yorkshire has had a strong trade presence for a very long time and with a number of our depots positioned not too far away, we are delighted to be opening a further location to accommodate the demand for our range of fantastic building products.
“We can’t wait to open as we look towards serving our customers and hopefully new tradespeople who want to come and see what we’re all about.”
Wakefield will become the latest stockist of our wide range of low maintenance building products, with household names such as HomeLine building products – fascias, soffits, window trims, cladding etc., Rockdoor composite doors, HomeFrame GRP composite doors and PVC-U windows and HomeView aluminium bifolding doors.
The new depot will be run by depot manager Justin Griffin and is to be located at Unit 3J on Tadman Street, WF1 5QU – perfectly situated just a few minutes’ drive away from the M1 motorway and conveniently located close to the city centre.
