Based in GAP’s Blackburn head office, the sales team supports the full range of customers - from small independent window and door installers to large national contractors and house builders.
Though, most customers regard GAP through the prism of their local Depot, thousands of phone enquiries are received and processed every week by the central sales office from customers looking to place orders or get general advice or support.
So, given the key role that the sales team plays in GAP’s success, the Depot expansion and improvement team decided it was time to spruce up their workplace!
In addition to 125L of paint that have been used, the sales office has also benefitted from the same point-of-sale material that is used to full effect in all GAP Depots. Ten product display boards feature prominently in the office and showcase not only GAP’s own range of PVC-U building products, but other industry brands including FloPlast, Desmopol and Tapco.
GAP’s Sales and Marketing Director Paul Sowerby said:
“The sales office team are often the unsung heroes of the business development function, and it’s been great to show them just how much importance and value we place on them and their huge efforts. As well as being able to touch and feel products, they can sample colour shades and familiarise themselves with various windows trims. The refurb also gave our Depot Fit-Out Crew a chance to enjoy an assignment closer to home!”

The sales department isn’t the only part of Head Office to be freshened up, the exterior of our Rockdoor buildings have also received a touch up and we must say, they are looking lovely in the sunshine!
