PVC-U Windows and Doors Included in £2bn Government Grant.
Rishi Sunak, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, has today announced a generous support package for the UK economy to help improve energy efficiency in homes and boost the construction industry.
The Green Homes Grant Scheme which starts in September 2020 is a £2bn injection of funding to provide homeowners grants of up to £5,000 (£10,000 for lower income households) to help homeowners improve the energy efficiency of their homes and reduce their bills.
This is fantastic news for our industry as the scheme includes PVC-U windows and energy efficient doors.
A-Rated Rockdoors and PVC-U Doors
This scheme particularly welcome news for customers of GAP, as we already offer the UK’s most energy efficient composite door, Rockdoor, as well as a wide range of A-Rated PVC-U windows.
As more details are released about the scheme in the coming days and weeks, we’ll do everything we can to support our customers in becoming accredited suppliers.
