We are delighted to announce that building work is well underway for another ‘two depots’ that have a huge strategic importance for GAP.
The first new depot to open will be in Exeter on the 2nd April, closely followed by Taunton which will open on the 15th April.
Whilst it’s great to just be able to announce two new depots to open in quick succession, (taking our total to 93 depots overall and our 4th in 2024 alone), these openings have an underlying importance to GAP. As the title to this article states, these new depots represent ‘GAP’s Gateway to the South West’ which opens up a wealth of opportunities to attract new customers and showcase the many benefits GAP can offer, from industry leading products, to first class customer service.
Although we deliver into the South West already, having a local presence in the area allows us to better service our existing customers with more frequent deliveries, whilst providing access to huge stock levels should customers prefer to collect from store. It also allows us to offer new customers widely respected brands such as Rockdoor, HomeLine rooflines, HomeFrame windows and GRP doors, plus HomeView bi folds for the first time in the area.
GAP Exeter, located on the busy industrial estate on Marsh Barton Road to the south of Exeter, is led by a fantastic new team including depot manager Chris Walker, and regional sales manager Paul Hughes.
