On Monday GAP opened the doors to a brand-new purpose built depot in Aberdeen South to service customers across the central and southern parts of county. The move saw the old GAP Aberdeen South merged with the recently acquired SIG Building Plastics depot which was previously located in the centre of Aberdeen.
The new location is conveniently located on the same industrial park as the previous Aberdeen South depot in Altens Lorry Park, and is just a short eight minute drive from old SIG Aberdeen Building Plastics depot.
To say the relocation has provided an improvement for both depots is an understatement – for both customers and team members.
Our new bigger and better 6,000 sq ft GAP Aberdeen South has allowed us to dramatically increase our stock holding in the depot to carry the largest range of PVC-U Building Products in town, in all the colours you can imagine too.
Customers will also benefit from a fantastic new fitter friendly trade counter that previously wasn’t feasible at both the older depots due to space. We’ve been able to display our stunning collection of Rockdoors, GRP composite Doors, Homeline Rooflines, Homeframe PVC-U Windows, Origin Bi Folds and the popular Korniche Roof Lantern which is suspended from the trade counter ceiling on cables.
As you’d expect too, our full range of ancillaries are ready and waiting on the shelf so customers can make a quick turn-around and get back to on the job.
