Our most northerly depot in Inverness has made the short but significant journey down the road to much bigger and better premises to provide customers a true GAP experience.
Inverness joined the GAP network back in August 2017 when GAP acquired SIG Building Plastics. Since then our team have been keen to relocate the depot to new premises to allow us to showcase our wide range of in-house manufactured brands including Homeline Rooflines, Rockdoors and Homeframe Windows.
As with all GAP depots, the trade counter, which is 4 times bigger than the old Inverness counter, has a focus on stocking fitter friendly trade essentials such as Silicones, PU Foams, Fixings and more to ensure customers can call in, grab what they need and get back on the job.
Customers will benefit from the depot carrying a much larger range and quantity of PVC-U building products in stock, thanks to a larger warehouse facility. Extra dedicated parking will also be welcomed by customers over the old site.
Simon Bird, GAP’s Joint Founder commented. “We’re delighted to have found a unit in Inverness that we have been able to invest in, to show our customers what we can provide them. Space was at a premium in the old depot, so we could never really show off Rockdoors, Windows and Homeline Roofline to full effect. With the new depot, this has all changed and we are looking forward to showing our customers the quality range of products we can offer. We can also now show our new PVC-U Patio Master Sliding Door, the new Aluminium Origin 44mm Sliding Door and Aluminium Visofold Bi Folding Doors.”
In addition to windows and doors, GAP Inverness will stock a wide range of roofing solutions such as Desmopol Liquid Roofs and Firestone Rubber Cover whilst offering Aluminium Lanterns and Roof Lights from Korniche and Wendland by Ultraframe.
Depot Manager Tony Renfrew added “Moving to bigger and better premises is welcome news to both my team and our customers. We can now give our customers across Inverness a better service, improved product range and better experience when visiting the depot”.
