We have been working hard over the past few weeks to fully understand the impact this pandemic will have on our service and supply chains, and what protection and mitigation measures we can put into place to reduce this impact on our customers.
We operate a vertically integrated business, which allows us to offer our customers the best possible service during this difficult period. From manufacturing to delivery, we aim to keep as close to a normal service as possible whilst keeping team members and customers safe.
GAP’s supply chain is predominantly UK based, however we have a first and second tier supplies based around the world where we are in daily contact to ensure full supply. We are also in contact with alternative suppliers in the UK and Germany that could commence immediate supply should the situation change.
Where shortages occur or changes are required, communications will be sent out to allow for planning purposes.
The situation remains very fluid but we are confident in the continuity of production and supply to our customers for ‘Business as Usual’. We are confident in the measures we have put in place however should the situation change we will notify you immediately.
We will continue to serve our customers over our trade counters and through our delivery service as best we can, based on up to date Government guidelines in addition to our in-house Health and Safety teams, to limit the spread of this virus and stay safe.
We’d like to thank you for your patience and support during this difficult time.
Best regards,
Simon Brayshaw
Chief Executive
