GAP, the leading home improvement stockist, has just completed a deal which instantly adds 8 new depots to the group, increasing their coverage to 24 locations across the UK.
Specialising in the distribution of PVC-U building products, the company now boasts new depots in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Coventry, Preston, Ellesmere Port, Trafford, Winsford and West Bromwich. The locations fit perfectly into the existing GAP network and will allow them to serve customers more locally. In addition, a further depot has opened in Stoke, with another coming online shortly in Falkirk. The expansion also sees GAP welcome more than 30 new members of staff to the team.
Inline with their customer service ethos, refurbishment of the new GAP depots is already well underway. Each depot will benefit from a hugely increased product range, fitter-friendly trade counters and helpful knowledgeable staff who can assist and advise customers at every opportunity.
The move also opens up opportunities for GAP’s core industry brands, including the Homeline range of Fascias, Soffits and Gutters; Rockdoor Composite Doors, Cosmopolitan Door Panels and Homesmart Solar Panels.
