General All Purpose Plastics (GAP) is a privately owned specialist manufacturer and trade supplier within the building and construction industry both domestically and commercially.
At present our state of the art manufacturing plant is based in Blackburn, Lancashire, whilst operating 11 PVC-U Distributions Warehouse’s primarily situated across the North of England with several more in the pipeline across the UK. Operating a business on this scale requires a supply chain that we can rely upon so as we can provide the service to our customers that they have come to expect.
Changing Times
GAP is a fast growing business in a fast moving industry. Ten years ago PVC-U windows dominated our market place – now due to the saturation of this market we can no longer rely of this to provide our business with growth.
As the leading independent stockist, we pride ourselves on predicting new trends in our market place, and providing our customers with the products to help them diversify and grow. New big growth areas in our industry range from Roofline to Composite doors.
We also look for new products that can help our customer become more efficient and profitable, such as introducing Air Conditioning/Heating Units for Conservatory Installers to help reduce the cost of plumbing radiators in.

We take great pride in the quality of our imagery here at GAP. We have a huge array of high quality literature whilst operating an online ordering service featuring thousands of product images.
● It is because of this that we insist of high quality images of any products we resell.● Minimum specification - 1300x975px at 180 dpi
● Shot on a white background, preferably cut out
● Ensure that the image shows the most distinguishing feature (USP) of the product
● Supply images of all accessories or value-added items separately using the same guidelines as above
